Get us outta here!!!!

Not going to lie to you folks. This is the toughest thing Jeanette and I have ever done. We need out, now. Thomas is a sick, struggling big bro. Jeanettte stays with him, I walk Andrey to pass the time. Its cold. This sucks. No one is sleeping well.

I would pay a large amount of money to get out. So, pray for us, we're struggling, no doubt, but we'll make it!

side note: a drunk guy walked into the salon here whuile we got Andrey's super long hair cut yesterday, and caused a minor scene. Security ushered him out, but he came back in a few minutes later.. There are many "tough looking" security guards here, and I was suprised they let him back in. He approached Jeanette Thomas and I... If Andrey had not been on my lap, i may have dropped him. I won't lie, with the emotional, physical state we're in now, and my itch do get back to Police work... He may have gotten hurt :) sorry, just being honest!

alrighty, see you all soon....

Greg

ps.. my father in law had surgery, and was not supposed to make it thru, but he did! he is doing well nowand we are sooo very happy! It was truly a miracle Sal is still with us, and... he was supposed to have been paralyzed in his arm but he has regained feeling, which is another miracle... wheeeeew, quite and emotional week for everyone!

did i mention i want to get the heck out of here?

That stinks... ugh!
What's your time frame now? When do you get to come home?

We will definitely be praying for Thomas to heal and for your time to pass quickly, with no need for a brawl with a drunken man!

You guys are troopers! Hang in there... soon you'll be back in Sunny California! Love to you all!

You guys are doing great and we are so excited for you. You guys will get back here in a bit and look back and everything will be a great memory and won't seem as bad. We hope Thomas feels better and knows he is a great big brother. We can't wait to see you guys and to hear more stories in person. Thanks for the postcard. You guys rock to think of sending all of us a postcard. We are happy to hear about your Father In Law also and will be keeping him in our thoughts.

Dinis,
Hang in there! It has been a long trip so far, I had no idea that you needed to be there a month until right before you were leaving. What a huge adjustment this has been for all. Keep focused on God and the purpose of the trip. Know that what you are doing is immensely beautiful and that God's strength can carry you through. Psalm 62:1-2 Though venting also helps tremendously ;)

Ok this next bit is a bit random, but I was looking up what the name Andrey meant and then I checked all of your names.

Gregory - "vigilant watchman" - which sounds like exactly what you have been doing. God has placed you in an important role for your family right now.
Jeanette - ( feminine form of John) which means "God is gracious." You have shown God's graciousness over and over as you have shared this story. You also model God's graciousness to your family and friends.
Thomas - "twin" and one of the disciples. Sounds like he has been waiting for a new brother to share life with.
Andrey - (form of Andrew) which means "manly, strong, courageous" and also one of the disciples.
As you said Greg he is Russian orphanage strong :)
Ok - I know random, but just thought I'd throw that in.

I'm praying for Thomas' healing, for uplifted spirits, for your family time as you wait to come back home, and for some quick turn around that you come home NOW!
You are all missed!
Love,
Lori

Hi guys!
I just found your website after writing it down months ago...I am so happy for you. Andrey is such a beautiful little boy, he fits right in to the family. :)
Hang in there, I know things are rough right now. Sorry that Thomas is sick.
We are probably traveling in April or May to get our daughter in China...so soon we will get to experience a little of what you are going through.
Congrats on your new son!
